Fan wing.

I broke a wing of the fan thats attached to the mother board cause it was a bit busted and scraping against the side making a hell of a noise s.

What I am wondering is will it harm the comp if the fan has 1 wing less like will it fry the comp or is it no biggie ?

It won't fry. The fan might move a little less air around, but I doubt it'll have a major impact on the cooling. You might want to look into replacing the fan though - if it was damaged to begin with it might not be doing its job properly, amputated fin or not.

Without the fin the fan won't be balanced and will vibrate like a motherfucker. Given that its on your motherbaord it'll eventually cause other things to dislodge or have poor contact. Replace it.

Or, the fan will be unbalanced and slowly destroy its bearings, leaving you with no fan. Replace it, but it's not mission critical.
