INSTALLED A DVD-RW DRIVE - WTF

SO I'M A DUMBASS AND I INSTALLED A DVD DRIVE. It came with no software. Whenever I try to play a DVD on it in any media player, I get a "copywrite issue" of some sort. I'm guessing it has to do with not having any DVD decoder; can anyone point me to a free one?

You may need to set the players region.

you have to pay for dvd playing software ot steal it off usenet/bittorrent. Media player is not going to cut it.
