how do i upgrade my usb ports to hi-speedz?i have "universal USB prots" and i cant find the drivers or whatnot to do it.

You can't "upgrade" existing USB 1.x ports to 2.0 hi-speed ones; the hardware is different. What you can do, however, is buy a PCI card with extra USB ports on it, and those will be hi-speed ones.

Did you reinstall your motherboard drivers? The standard XP drivers are often enough to get things running, but not always at optimum performance.

i'll reinstall my MOBO drivers then, thanx.

Don't change these.
