How does one use a proxy to make it seem as though your IP address is from a specific country?

1. Find a proxy server in a "specific country".
2. Set your program to use that proxy, or use a program like "FreeCap" to route other traffic through your proxy.
3. If you are doing a "hacking challenge" or just need to spoof country, then instead alter your HTTP headers so it looks like you are coming from another country.

I downloaded freecap, but I'm not sure how to make it work. Whenever I try to set up an anonymous ip server the connection is refused.

You dont need freecap then, just put the IP address:port into the Preferences>General>connections settings...
