I just got a nifty DVI to VGA converter so I could plug my LCD as well as my old cathode monitor in and run dual monitor. Start up the computer and they both display the same thing. Okay, no problem I think, I just have to fix it up later. But then the minute windows loads, the LCD hooked up to the DVI stops displaying the image. It's not off, and it's not giving me the no input message, so I can't figure out what the deal is. Anyone have any clue how to get both the monitors to work? Thanks in advance for any help!

Right Click on Desktop > Properties > Settings Tab > Check the Box on "Extend Desktop onto this display" or something of the sort > Apply > PROFIT

That works on my laptop when I try it, but for some reason the extend my desktop icon doesn't show up, nor the two windows. I'm messing with the nVidia stuff, and enabling dual monitors was enabled, but still no response.

Okay, after messing around with some things (not really sure what I did actually ^^;) I got it to work like a charm. Now my only problem is the LCD is purply hinted.
