Are there any programs that let me write on my desktop? I want something that will let me easly write on my desktop so i dont miss important dates and stuff.
I used to edit my backgrounds and put the dates into them but it takes time =/

I used to put text files with carefully chosen filenames on my desktop, but if you're looking for something to do it properly there are apps out there to let you make post-it style notes. However I'm not Google so I can't tell you what they are.

Would you not be better off with a calendar program where you can schedule things, and then it notifies you when important dates are coming up?
