DVI-to-VGA Adapters. And such.

Will plugging my CRT monitor into the DVI port (using an adapter) on my video card give any advantages over just plugging it straight into the VGA port?

I've heard somewhere that it will yield an ever-so-slight image quality increase, but hell, it could just be a placebo effect.

no, it's the same signal. The dvi-to-vga adaptor lets you plug in two CRTs though, so you can have fun dual monitor sexcapades.
