sound problems with windows xp

ehh...
alright there is no sound on my computer (windows xp)
it keeps saying something like i dont have a device installed or something like that...
anybody know what i can do?

(i know there isnt much info to go n... but ask me questions if you need any more info)

look up acer97 sound drivers, that should fix your problem
