Blank screen on R-click of video files

Hi all...

Whenever I right click, ctrl-c or hit delete on a media file encoded with Xvid, Divx + possibly others, my monitor goes blank for a second, almost as if it is changing resolution (but isn't).

It's not a major problem, but a considerable annoyance... any ideas on what's causing it?

This has happened for a while with various codec combinations... oh, and I'm running an Nvidia 6600GT if that helps at all.

Something to do with the initialization/deinitialization of the preview box.

1. You should be using ffdshow, not XviD or DivX
2. Previews are evil, you might want to Google for a way to disable them
3. Windows Explorer is slow and userly, you might want to check FAR Manager.
