"Lag" in anime watching

Name: Anonymous 2006-02-08 2:42

Sometimes when I watch anime the picture kinda "lags" but when I watch the same scene again it doesnt, is this because of postprocessing? If so, how do I turn it off? Is it maybe because of a bad encode?

SOLUTION: STOP BEING A STUPID ANIME-WATCHING DORK AND GET LAID ALREADY!!!

a) cpu too slow
b) graphics card driver not properly installed or too old graphics card
c) running a crappy bittorrent program in background
d) I dunno, use your imagination.

Or perhaps a bad codec. Doubt it is a bad encode, but slightly possible.

'Lags' how? The video and audio get out of sync? Try a different player (eg VLC).

VLC fucking SUCKS.

True story, but it's OSS, so I'm sticking with it.

Truth. It does, in general, not perform as well as applications using DirectShow libraries - for example Media Player Classic.

I got VLC, then I found out mplayer is available for Winders, and there was much rejoicing. Woo mplayer!

Aren't you watching it directly from some external disc?

But it sucks more, so...

I use VLC, and it works most of the time. When it doesn't work I'll just use WMP :X

It sucks way less as it's way faster and has the features one needs

Don't take the troll serious. He uses WMP when VLC fails. Nuff said.

Don't change these.
