Lime wire connection problems

im having trouble connecting to the limewire network with limewire. its worked before on this computer when i had a hardwire to the modem. but i went wireless and its not working anymore. suggesitons?

Are you the only person on the wireless? It's probably set to use NAT and so all connections to you are being blocked. Try turning that off or putting yourself in the DMZ in the router configuration.

im not the only person on the net work connection.  so whats this DMZ thing? i can use the internet on the same computer. as well as morpheus and yahoo. ( course morpheus has to much bull shit to be useful.

There's no need to turn NAT off or put your computer in the demilitarized zone (DMZ). Just forward the Limewire ports to your PC's IP address:
