When is the last time you've heard of someone getting sued/extorted for downloading games? Not movies or music, but games?

Warning shot. ISP did not do shit. In fact, I didn't even get a letter, all I got was an email, to an account I had not checked in years. They requested I delete it and that I stop stealing from Symantec. That's it.

Bringing cases to court is out of the question, instead they'll use scare tactics. Though the software was shit anyway and I deleted it after installing. In conclusion: as long as the ISP cannot be held responsible, neither will the user. It all comes down to money. Poor companies can't pursue, and big companies don't want to lose money pursuing on a wide scale, so they don't pursue at all or instead set up propaganda cases. Symantec is unusual. They have a shitload of unused resources, and a shitload of bad software that no one buys. General rule of thumb is to stick to the masses and keep away from the big guys.

Game companies aren't big guys.
