Vid-ay-oh Cahds

Hey guys, need some opinions.

Gotta get the girlfriend a new video card so she can play the Sims 2 at a resolution that isn't shit.  She loves that game, I personally find it boring as crap.  anyways.  I have an FX5200 in there now.  Its the suckiest card that ever sucked..I think my Voodoo5 5500 is better -_-.  I am not up to date with current cards.  What woul dbe my best bet for 150 bucks?  I was looking at the evga 128mb Geforce 6600  It had a higher core clock speed and Ram clock speed than most of the 6800s  (Did I mention its gotta be AGP 8X @_@).  Thanks a bunch guys.

ATI or Nvidia doesn't matter, im flexible.  I just want the best card for my money.

nvidia 6600GT AGP gives the best bang 4 buck ratio. i can play sims 2 @ 1600x1200 resolution (in fact even games like half life 2 as well) smoothly with no problems.

yeah get the 6600 but get one with 256mb ram it shouldnt be very much more.
