Wireless Networking with Xbox

I'm trying to find a wireless bridge or router that will work with my current wireless setup.  Bare with me I don't know a ton about how wireless works so please be patient.  I use an e-wire wireless DSL modem from bellsouth and to connect to my computer I have a usb adaptor.  I was wondering if I could use a linksys router or something to connect both my xbox and computer in my room to the modem across the house.  Any help would be great.

Yeah, but you'll have to change the connection settings within the router.  Real easy.

Change the internet connection type to PPPoE, username is USERNAME@bellsouth.net, password is more than likely your telephone number.

Set it to "Keep Alive:  180 Seconds" and you should be alright.

I don't remember if settings within the modem have to be changed.  I did this long ago.
