throwing DDR 333 and DDR 400 onto the same motherboard shouldn't cause system instability, ought it?

the 400 should be able to go lower fine.  trying to run the 333 faster would risk instability.  note that it's impossible to run them at different speeds from each other on the same computer.

your mobo will force the faster ram to run at the lower speed. shouldn't cause problems
