wacom tablet stopped errasing

i bought a wacom graphire4 a few days ago, it all worked fine at first. they were sometimes that the erraser would start working as a pen with out changing its setting or anything, but only happened once every few~(just had to close and re open photoshop to get it back to normal). but now the errase feature is compleatly gone, both ends of the pen work as a ...pen, re opening photoshop doesnt fixes it like it used to. i checked the settings for the tablet and everything is the same. anyone knows how can i fix this? its the first time i used a tablet, maybe im over looking something?

Are the two colours in the photoshop tray the same?

nope, it started while i had black as foreground color and white as background color,i always use a transparent layer

take it back, get another. ftw

Try paint shop pro, sounds like you may be using faulty warez, so if it works under a different program it isnt a physical prob.
