Cany anyone give me a good way to repair metadata file records? I have two drives that apperent have this damaged even after defraging and scandisking the drives.

If you mean the NTFS alternate file stream type data then good luck. I've found very little software that does anything more than simply identify the existence of such streams.

I ran the seagate diskcheck and it says they are fucked up. So there is no way to fix them?

You can try a file recovery program (search google for "file recovery" or "undelete" programs), but if NTFS metadata is seriously fucked up (such as after a treatment with Norton Speeddisk or other Symantec crapware) these are usually useless. Unless the data on the discs was important enough to warrant a professional data recovery service (Kroll-Ontrack) charging probably thousands of $$, it's forget&format.
