currently, my bitTorrent client, utorrent is slagging at a terrible 3.4kbs.

Does anyone have any advice on optimizing this so I can quicker and better downloads out of it?

You're retarded. If bloatware that doesn't work properly is an "accepted standard," I suppose you're right. And let's not forget the "accepted standards" that Microsoft chooses not to implement, like XHTML and CSS, while open-source software does.
