I'm about to take the first step in a systemwide upgrade thanks to some funds injected into my life. I'm planning on a CPU, Motherboard and One Videocard at the moment. My requirements are Dual Core, and the option of SLI or Crossfire in the future (say in a month or so).
My current system is a P4 Northwood 3Ghz in a Gigabyte 8KNXP motherboard which has served me EXTREMELY well. I've got no particular brand alegience so I'm open to all suggestions. I also have nine hard-drives so the new motherboard must either support at least that many drives, or have a PCI-E 4x slot for a RAID Controller.
