Mouse trouble

I've been having shit going on with Razor Viper (an optical) lately, and it's getting annoying. The mouse will randomly skip over areas, continue moving (slowly, but stutter-like) when left alone, not move after a certain point... The problems are quite reminiscent of a ball mouse with crap inside the tracking ball. I know dust/hair can get in the way of the light, but even when clean (I've cleaned this thing every few mins), these problems often arise.

Any other possible problems? Shit inside the mouse itself perhaps?

Well it depends. I have an optical that did the same thing when moved over images larger then the box, when the CPU was being used up.. is it happening on you then?

Just buy a new one, what's the problem? Really.
Or do your own homework (but it's little boring).
