today, I opened up my computer to clean up the 5mm worth of dusts that have accumulated inside it over the years. And to my shocking discovery, I think that the motherboard does not have any AGP slot, at all.
Oh, and the said computer is a P4 1.7Ghz, using the in-board graphics card that came with it. If it matters >_>

lmfao that is some hardcore motherboard, it has the AGP prints but the slot is removed for some reasons. As for why your monitor connects to that, that's probably the onboard graphics port output.. same thing as a graphics card would have.

Yeah, until now. I've been mainly playing old games and doujin games that doesn't require great system specs to run decently. Though more and more doujin games thesedays have higher requirements for it to even run >_>

Such a motherboard would cost about 50 bucks (with integrated Nvidia-graphics and AGP) and yes, you could just replace the old motherboard with the new one.
