I bought my pc as-is and I just tried to install and play Ragnarok Battle Offline, but when I go to my regional options, I can use the install east asian language pack since I need my "service pack 2 cd". Can anyone recommend a working method I can play japanese games? I've already tried installing just the language pack, apparently it needs something else.

Switching the non-unicode set?
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Advanced > set choicething to Japanese and reboot.

But the problem is that there is no option for japanese, all the asian language packs are missing.

Download a hacked XP or "find" your SP2 CD. That's all you can do, pretty much.
