Recording audio, coming from your comp

Is there any free program put there that can record audio coming from my computer directly, like a streaming radio station or something. I know this can be done but I'm obviously not sure how.

For streaming radio there is a good winamp plugin called StreamRipper. And if you just want to record all the sound, that comes out from your soundblaster, try Audio Record Wizard.
