Deleting virtual drives

Name: ANONYMOUSS 2005-12-31 12:55

I had Daemon Tools installed...but now I've uninstalled it and the damn virtual drive is stil there.  How am I supposed to get rid of it?  No one on the intarweb seems to have a non-retarded answer.  Please help me 4chan...you're my only hope. D:

Jesus Christ, it's on the first page of their "Common problems & solutions" forum: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/showthread.php?t=448

Why do you want to uninstall it anyway?

Open the device manager and uninstall the SCSI controller then remove the virtual device under 'System Devices'. Dig through %WINDIR%\System32\Drivers and remove any Daemon-related drivers. Restart your computer and check the device manager a final time to see if the device you removed early has returned, if so it should be safe to remove.

This doesn't always work, best of luck.

I already looked at the Daemon tools help, moron.  The help they gave was utterly useless.  I ended up figuring out how to delete it myself.

In what way was it uttery useless, and how did you solve it yourself?

Don't change these.
