Suggestions for a 19" LCD monitor

Hi all,

I'm looking to replace my extremely old (8 years and counting) monitor with a 19" LCD. The main thing I want out of it is good response time; good colors and monitor design are nice but not as important. My price range is from $350 to around $500. What would you guys recommend?

Samsung 930BF (1280x1024, 4ms, 700:1, 270 cd/m2) - $370 @ Newegg
ViewSonic VX922 (1280x1024, 2ms, 650:1, 270 cd/m2) - $395 @ Newegg

Those both look pretty tasty. :P

I've also been thinking of buying my first LCD monitor.  I found this article on LCD technology:

ttp://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/other/display/lcd-guide.html

But it's a year old and I don't know how relevant it is today.  Are the four panel technologies (TN, S-IPS, MVA, PVA) described in this article still competing with each other, or has one of them driven the rest off the market, or has something new and better than all of them been introduced?

Don't change these.
