whenever i turn on my comp it asks me to install a printer. it doesnt say anything in particular, jsut "printer".i already have my printer hooked up and installed and everything too.

I'll assume you're using Windows. Go into Device Manager and see if you have any strange devices listed in either the "Printers" or "Other Devices" categories. If you do, delete it. If Windows then finds new hardware and tries to install stuff for it, well, you're gonna have to live with it until someone comes along with a better answer. Get to Device Manager by going through Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > "Device Manager" tab.
