Replacing laptop video cards

Name: Anonymous 2005-12-26 3:53

I'm posting this from my toshiba satellite A10 which isn't bad minus the graphics controller. It's an intel 82852/82855 GM/GME graphics controller with 64mb of memory and I'd like to upgrade to a newer nvidia model. What i need to know is whether or not its possible and, if so, whats a good model to upgrade to?

You can't. The graphics are integrated into the motherboard, and there is no space for an upgrade to go. You're stuck with it. Laptops shouldn't be used for gaming (with modern games anyway) for precisely this reason.

Don't change these.
