Recovering Digital cam Pics

I was fooling around with a certan female friend last night (god I love drunken friday fun) and we eneded up playing with my digital cam. Well we took some sexy-fied pics of eachother as a joke x-mas gift, but in the end she wanted the pics gone so she erased all of them from the cam. Since then the cam has been off and untouched.

So, I am wondering if there is any way to use software to recover those pics? I would of posted in electronics but I guessed this was more of a software/computer thing.

I think these things just use FAT for Windows compatibility. In which case, try MS-DOS's undelete.

Obviously I /r/ any recovered pics (if she isn't fat).

If it doesn't work, torrent the disk image. We here are sex-starved to such an extent that we'll gladly spend weeks trying to extract the images.

make sure to make an image of the disk, yeah. I think Acronis TrueImage could do it. That way you can take pictures and still be able to recover.

You can definitely get them back, though. Any recovery program should be able to do it. If you haven't re-written to the memory since, then they should all be 100% intact. Ontrack EasyRecovery is a well-seeded program that works well and is easy to use, try that.

Rofl, maybe I will share since it is the season, but I would have to do some editing to protect her identity so that she wouldent be too pissed if she found out. Or I guess I could just randomly post the in /s/ with no info so they would just be another random girl >.>

First step of recovering any important data is usually making an image of the medium. Things like dd.

Well yea I did image the thing the copy the images to work on. Success! I managed to get every pic that was taken off the thing along with some stuff I took weeks ago, lol. I'll see about posting some in /s/ this week.
