Why is this an extension at all?! All features could be added right into the board script, bar the menu. But then a menu at the top of the page could be created as well...
All trivial except for long thread/post expansion. Why is this not done?
That way every user could benefit from these cool improvements etc ^^

the extension always was a menu extension, It just has accumulated page modifying features along the way. Also storing that much data in the cookie is restarted, and you wouldn't have access to other sub-domain cookies, so couldn't get a list of all watched threads, for example. Page level scripts are too restricting for what I want so I shan't write a script version. And, a menu on the top of the page completely defeats the point of the menu, the page already has board links!
If you want a cross-browser script then go ahead and write one.
WTSnacks wrote a good GM script, but I don't have a link.
Having a problem. My 4chan extension stopped working a few days ago, all the menus are gone, and in my extensions list always says the add-on will be installed when Firefox is restarted. Tried downloading it again and it still doesn't work. This is pissing me off.
However, this is a good reason why IDs suck and are faggy shit introduced to fuck with world4ch once again. Good >>566-567-san was trying to troll, and he was frustrated by ID shit. IDs make trolling harder, and trolling at world4ch is like breathing. No good.

are you using ifox or some other custom theme? it is shit and breaks the config window. Change to the default theme to change the options, there is one to disable the 4chan menu.

I moved the thread watcher off the side of the screen and it won't come back. I've reinstalled the extension, set the options to default and it still won't come back. You should make it so it can't be moved off the side of the screen or there should be a setting to bring it back if something like this happens.

This thing is fucking broken. When I click a picture, it expands, properly, but when I :Ctrl-Click:Save As.. it saves that HTML ad bullshit as the picture. I go to view my porn, and it's not there!
You need to detect when images come back as HTML and pop that ad up even when people click save as. I need to know when you're going to fucking mangle my pictures.
fuck you.

Yeah, I got this a few weeks ago and can't get the thread watcher to work. I click the TW and it just sends me to a blank page with "THREAD WATCHER" written across it and nothing else.

my daily synch of select 4chan boards:
1. open custom frameset html
2. search "omit" and click the + until all are expanded
3. save to disk with scrapbook (greasemonkey script dosn't kick in for content loaded afterwards)
4. open scrapbook copy, greasemonkey script filters out the duplicate url for every image *src.cgi*
5. Synch to folder on disk using DTA.
Have the ability to automatically save the image in its original name.

How about an option that allows you to see the filename of the image without having to press the "Reply" link to see it.
maybe in the form of a button or an option in the extension properties so that one can set whether he wants to see them or not.
Sometimes I epand the thread, then click on a link that links back to the OP, it takes me to a 404 page.

What about an option to show in the thread watcher all watched threads independantly of the board (you know, I mark one thread in /a/ and I want it to show even if I am on /b/).
also, it would be as cool as caps lock if you could add comments, or a phrase or something to the watched thread, as a lot are anonymous and they don't have any title.

You are retarded. Ever heard of offline browsers? They can recursively fetch a site for you and save it to disk. I like httrack but there are many others. You just give it the board URL and tell it to crawl recursively until site boundaries and save all referenced images and violá. Warning: This will get your IP banned if you do it too much ;_;
