would it be possible to have threads expand automatically when you click on the ">>post#" link and the post being linked to is hidden

Also, when you expand a thread then shrink it back again, if you click on the ">>post#" link to a post that is hidden, the link no longer works unless you re-expand the post.

If you're outside the US then you will be taken straight to the image
Why ? Are we free of ads ?

>>520
pretty wasteful though, its pretty rear when you want to look at every picture posted. perhaps some kind of "expand selected".

>>521
I wanted to implement this, but wasn't sure if I'd be able to redirect te page to the right place after the post has been expanded.

>>522
as far as I know, yes. the ads are only shown to people in the US.

When I expand a thread and click on a link that points at the opening post, it leads to a 404 page. Fix?

Europeans are superior even there!

Name: Anonymous 2007-01-31 11:28

Can you plz add this feature to the next plugin? (see attached link)

Idea stolen from 2chbrowser :3.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-04 14:35

is there some reason why is a blank space at the botton of the page?

Name: DamageInc !euFrYW8TXE 2007-02-04 15:44

>>526
hm, I'll look into it. But maybe the thread was deleted as you were browsing it. or does it happen every time?

>>528
I'll think about it

>>529
its an option, and should be off by default. it makes using the navigation buttons better, since you never hit the bottom of the page.

Sage checkbox on textboards.

thread spammer on textboards
copipe archive on textboards
changer from 1-40 to l40 or something on textboards

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-05 15:14

Please, make it so that you can browse world4ch with the proper original theme, not this piece of shit. No sage checkbox? Reply button ABOVE my post? Other shit? WTF, this is shit.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-06 4:51

Original theme used table based layout and did not use css. you can't browse world4ch anymore in the original theme without major refactoring of the web page.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-06 7:03

Well, at least make the controls sane.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-06 20:19

Why would adding a sage checkbox and moving the reply button down to the bottom be something hard to do?

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-09 4:20

a feature to batch upload images into one thread would be super neato

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-09 9:50

>>539
Yeah, right

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-15 21:19

A way to get to the prefs menu other than tools->add-ons->scrollrandomly->4chan->clicketyclick

This is a wryyyyyypost from /g/:

So, does the latest version start to waste CPU time (up to 35% or so) after running for a while on anybody else's (Windows) computer too?

Or is it just a coincidence that it does that on all my Windows PCs?

Phenomenon disappears as soon as the 4chan extension is disabled.

It also used to have a huge memory leak here that wouldn't disappear unless I disabled all functions that modified the page HTML somehow. But in the latest version, you apparently can't do that anymore (it will always add those silly report buttons to every post - why the fuck do you need an extension to do that anyway?).

>>539
You're probably on your own with that... but i agree, as it'd make epic threads easier :o

>>542
Disregard that, I suck cocks. The effect actually is still there with the Firefox extension disabled. It just took a long time for some reason.

Never mind.

too hard and requires too much thinking.

Anybody having a problem with inline quick replies?  For some reason, even though, I click submit the post doesn't go through.  Not sure if it's an extension or server problem.

>>545
Another thing I meant to implement but never did.

>>549
Any specific board(s)? I haven't had any problems. You know that replies won't show up until you refresh the page?

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-24 15:20 ID:WCBGxJI2

>>550
It's varied and seemingly random.  I click submit, the window closes, but when I refresh the page, the reply is not there.  I'll be on the the look out for more clues.

Any interest in a mod to the extension to hide sage replies in threads? I spent an hour or so this morning modernizing the extension (uses chrome.manifest instead of .rdf files), and writing up a quick hack to hide sage replies, the only catch on it so far is that it doesn't display user information in the 'Reply Hidden' bar, since I was writing/developing for FORCED_ANON boards.

>modernizing
Funny, I'm doing the same thing. except I'm completely rewriting the extension because its a horrible hacky mess.

I didn't to .manifest because it didn't seem worth it for the cost of requiring ff 1.5+, but I guess everyone must be using 1.5+ now?

How much did you have to change?  If you like, email me your modified files and I'll merge them into the main code. It sounds like a feature that others might like. You'd be credited of course.

Also I plan to release a minor bug fix version shortly.

Name: ragzilla 2007-02-25 12:01 ID:ilSlYJ5H

The only changes were in 4chanlib.js , just had to add new functions to insert an appropriate bar. The 'modernizing' of the .manifest was mostly because I couldn't get a dev environment going with the old .rdf ones for some reason, overlays just weren't working right so I moved to a .manifest, but if you want a copy of that it'll need to wait to tonight since it's on my desktop at work.

I can't find info about the new version (0.4.5.3), can you tell us what changed in this version?

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-26 0:19 ID:aQVc1AR5

joining the "I want this for seamonkey" crowd. I know absolutely nothing about developing an extension, but I have other extension installed on seamonkey that are supposed to just be for firefox, so I assume it can't be that complicated to port it.

>>555
The only bug fix worth noting is the one where the threads don't align properly, where a thread creaps up beside the previous thread. I should really maintain a chanelog :(

>>556
I plan to support seamonkey 1.1+ with the version im slowly rewiring, though weather it will work or not I have no idea.

I think you mean "whether". ^_^;
