I'm gonna have to second you on that, it feels like taking a step back to go back to Firefox, the only reason i'm even considering it is because of this plugin, now if someone would make something similar for opera i'd be a happy man, it is very possible if i'm not mistaken.

All I used the extension for (when I used Firefox) was the links. When I switched to Opera, I just spent 10 minutes putting all the pages in a bookmarks folder and linking that folder in the Personal Bar.
I kinda wished I had used the other features (watch thread, for instance), but I was not privy to it back then.

Here's a weird one. It's been a while since I uninstalled the extension, but when I used it, it interfered with my ability to use the keyboard to select text.
Outside of a text-entry box: Double-click on a word at the beginning of the selection, hit shift-end to highlight from the beginning of the selection to the end of the same line, then move the cursor left with shift-left arrow to shorten the selection - the highlighted selection never moves left.

Ever since I upgraded to Firefox 2 the 4chan extension hasnt worked properly from the menus - if it's set to the default tab opening behaviour, both a left click and a middle click open the selected board in a new tab. If set to the switched behaviour, both open in the current tab.
Right now I have every other extension I use disabled, and it's still doing it. Any ideas? =(

I keep getting this error:
ReferenceError: chanmenu_RebuildMenus is not defined
and post expand does not work

When using the inline TW for /b/, it would be great if it displayed the first few words of the OP. In fact, it would probably be useful for all boards.

That's lame. The window is movable if you really want to see what OP wrote.
Um, dunno what you're talking about, but the point of the feature would be so "watched" /b/ threads could be differentiated. Right now, "author" and "subject" are both blank, which is confusing when you're watching more than one thread in /b/.
Im having trouble with the TW, every time I close the browser, the TW clears all my threads.

The inline TW seems to have disappeared into the left side of the frame for me. I can only see a small portion of the right side of it. I'm using Firefox 2.0 and the latest 4chan extension, and I've turned off all my other add-ons.
Would it be possible to make a "Hide Post" function, similar to the "Hide thread" function?

a friend installed the extension on my computer while i was out of the room. it screwed up the page, so i uninstalled it. this fixed most of the problems, but the url www.4chan.org just gives me a blank page. any idea how to fix that?

thanks dude! it works fine with adblock disabled. however, i wish to use adblock (i don't plan on installing the 4chan extension again). it was working before the latter was installed. how do i blanked slate?
i whitelisted www.4chan.org with adblock and now it works. might not be the best way, but it got the job done

I've noticed that the extensions seems to remove the "save image as..." option from the firefox right-click menu when I click on images on any site (4chan or not).

hm, I haven't replied to this in a while.
>Would it be possible to make a "Hide Post" function, similar to the "Hide thread" function?
request noted, it was part of my original plan, but I never implemented it.
>Can you make this work with 7chan
short answer: no, long answer: maybe, I've talked about this before in this thread.
>whut happend to the links to the loli boards?
what loli boards? not4chan died long ago.
>extensions seems to remove the "save image as..."
hm, that might be to do with a feature I've half implemented, I'll look into it.
>what happened to the sidebar?
nothing to do with me!
hopefully I'll get round to working on this at some point :(

loli boards are at not4chan.us though it's down at the moment.

If you were to make a hide post function, how about you make it so we can hide all posts with similar text? Like it would search your thread for specific words (or sentences...) and automatically hide them?

The extension isn't working for a few boards - I've only checked on /k/ but it's broke there. . . still working in /b/ though.
Also why does 0.4.4.4 disable inline image expanding? That's really annoying! I downloaded the 0.4.4.4 and didn't bother looking on what it upgraded and now I'm really really sad that I did.
same problem as #478, extension works on a couple of boards, i already reinstalled firefox and the new 4chan extension. I have no idea what the problem is
