Your logic is retarded.  Dual Core is better.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-08 14:17

seems broken again, anyone else with this?

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-08 15:15

I noticed it too

My menu is completely empty all of the sudden... reinstalling does nothing.

Also quick reply and thread expansion have never worked correctly for me (in /b/ anyway): they just get hung up and never go anywhere.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-08 19:10

Oh hey, it just started working again... woot.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-08 22:06

>>338
Why can't it just pull straight off 4chan?

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-08 22:20

>>365

Cancel that, it stopped working again...

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-09 1:34

Man, I need my threadwatcher. And the little clicky expansion thing.

Because then I can't change it!

If you're using the newest version then it should cache the board info, though it does take a minute to decide to use it after you start firefox.

... Oh.

Well, when I turned on my computer this afternoon and went to the 4chan menu, it was empty. It might not have been the latest version, though. I grabbed it off the Tools page a couple weeks back. I'll have to update it with the one on wrathfilledhate when that's back up; thanks for the tip.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-09 20:51

So I tried updating finally, and found that the little threadwatcher link in the corner didn't work. So now I'm back to 4.2

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-09 23:18

370 here: I updated to 4.3.1 when wrathfilledhate came back online, and it successfully got the board listings. However, the menu is empty yet again, so it seems it's not caching the data after all. The thread watcher's busted too, but I'm assuming that's a product of the missing board data.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-14 3:43

Does this utility save all images and posts thats been marked as watched? I don't usually have enough time in the morning to save all the pictures I request, if it hasn't already been bumped off the board.

Name: fred fredburger 2006-09-18 9:24

uh...it doesn't work that well witht the theme "iFox smooth 2.3" the menu options don't appear.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-18 18:17

>>374
iFox? That sounds extremely retarded. Like an Apple product.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-19 23:13

this image expander thing in 0.4.4.0 is GENIUS
also, the constant page-looks-like-its-loading-but-really-isnt after posting a reply using inline quick-reply went away.

excellent.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-20 0:17

I've upgraded to 0.4.4.0 and after visiting 4chan and then moving to another site, I keep getting tooltips popping up next to the mouse cursor.  The tool tip doesn't say anything, it's just a small little box.  I closed Firefox and reopened and it went away, but after visiting 4chan, it starts popping up again when ever I stop moving the cursor.

it may be conflicting with another extension or something. What version of firefox are you running? what extensions? Is it easy to reproduce?

>>373
Affraid not. And I don't plan to implement things that auto download things, I don't want the extension to be a burdon on the servers.

latest version here for thouse who haven't tried the latest version - http://4chan.wrathfilledhate.net/

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-20 21:35

i get the empty tooltip too.  and my context menu explodes with all options that are normally hidden ("save image" when right clicking on text), none of them seem to work either.

In the main TW (the one you fixed), clicking on delete doesn't remove the thread from the list. Only apparently, though, because it's not watched anymore and disappears when you reload the page.
Maybe not a bug, but less intuitive that the per-board TW

It's a known issue, It's likely a confilic with another extension. I can't reproduce this bug on my machine, with very few extensions currently. I'll need more info (firefox version, exensions and versions there of) to have any hope of reproducing the nug. If it's happening often then you might be better going to the previous version (see site).

>>380
I'll look into that, thanks.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-21 22:09

>>381

you sure it's a conflict with another extension?  i just tried it with a fresh profile- FF1.5.0.7, no other extensions,  and i got the broken context menu and empty tooltip.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-21 23:59

>>382 again..  after a reinstall the tooltip changed to say "thread hidden" in it..  i disabled thread hiding and it worked fine.  i was only trying this version in /v/ and i always have the sticky hidden there.  that would explain why it always broke for me.

I don't know that its a conflict, but I've been trying to get the bug for litraly weeks with no luck.

So disabling thread hiding fixes the tooltip and context menu problem?

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-22 17:11

yeah, no problems anymore.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-24 0:19

Sometimes quick reply doesn't include the post number.  I don't know why that happens but when I restart, it works again.

you can see the code. just rename the xpi file to zip and extract the contents

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-24 10:32

I want an ebuild for it

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-24 11:18

I have Visual Studio, how do I compile this?

what you say? firefox extensions are made of javascripts, related files, and files providing metadata for the extension. all you need to know is metadata requirements, folder layout structure and a knowledge of javascript and xml to hack around with extensions.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-30 21:33

4.3.1 doesn't have inline images, which is (along with thread watching for /b/) the only reason i use it
the newest version fucks up my context menu and makes it too long, but the last version seemed to be fine.  could the website include all old versions of the extension?

Name: DamageInc !euFrYW8TXE 2006-10-01 6:12

>>392
it does contain a link to 4.3.1, but I guess I could include others (there are all there, just not linked to), and how you can fix the current version (disable post/thread hiding).

Name: DamageInc !euFrYW8TXE 2006-10-01 9:08

new bug fix version:

http://4chan.wrathfilledhate.net/menu/4chan.v0.4.4.1.xpi

Version 0.4.4.1 Updates:
- fixed bug where large thread could not be shrunk down after being expanded.
  > this might have fixed the bug with the context menu, but I can't be sure since I've only managed to reproduce it once or twice.
- fixed bug where long replys would in long threads would not be expanded at all.

Name: Stuff 2006-10-02 5:31

thanks man

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-02 5:32

this might have fixed the bug with the context menu, but I can't be sure since I've only managed to reproduce it once or twice.
I'll report if I encounter it again, thanks for your work.

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-02 8:21
