I wish they would make up their mind! Anyway, img. and zip. are best :(

It will have to wait a few hours until I get back from work.

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-24 13:51

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-24 17:00

Got it, works great, awesome work, one internets, etc.

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-24 19:57

The best thing about giving something to Anonymous, is that they get all pissy when you take that thing away xD

Name: SilverDogg 2006-07-24 20:08

this extension doesnt work in /b/ anylonger O_o

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-25 2:51

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-25 4:06

Calm down emo, 'tard.  If you don't like it, make your own extension.  The reason why it wasn't working was given in an earlier post.

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-27 0:01

what does this extension do?

Name: DamageInc !euFrYW8TXE 2006-07-27 3:46

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-28 13:30

I have a problem, i dont get the other configuration tabs.. refer to image: http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/918/clipboard01ht4.png

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-28 14:07

The thread expander (+) does not work, any suggestions? :(
Firefox 1.5.0.5

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-28 19:10

My extension just died. I don't have anything in the menu anymore, and I haven't chanegd a thing. It just completely disappeared... wtf?

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-28 19:41

>>337
The website that the extension pulls the board from is dead.  But strangely, I still have the menus...

Perhaps DamageInc should get a different hosting company.

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-28 20:08

And now my extension works again... this thing is haunted.

>>335
ifox breaks the config window. If you must use it then change to a differet theme (ifox it the only one that breaks it that I know of), change settings and change back.

>>336
disable/uninstall ietab :)

>>337
are you using the latest version? The latest version caches the last downloaded board data and uses it when the site is down. see: http://4chan.wrathfilledhate.net/. >>338 must be using the latest version.

Could you PLEASE update the janitor version already.  0.4.1.3 won't self-update, thinks it's got the most recent version.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-02 15:25

Eh, mine self-updated.  Don't know what happened to yours...

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-03 2:20

Am I the only one that still gets the hang on Quick Reply? Basically it acts as if it won't load the page. I need to refresh to make it work again.

Also, regarding Quick Reply, why does it always start my typing on the second line as if I pressed Enter first?

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-03 3:00

So now I have version 0.4.3.0 of the janitor plugin, and it complains on startup every time that the XML file "contains no boards".

Now what?

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-03 3:34

What the hell is a janitor plugin?

Name: DamageInc !euFrYW8TXE 2006-08-03 4:01

>>343
its not trying to laod anything. its just sending the post to a hidden frame, so that you can keep browsing.

>>344
Fixed, sorry about that.

The janitor version of the extension is not fully ready yet. I said you can irc me if you want a beta (but working) version, but you didn't. email me with who you are and what board(s) you janitor and I'll give you the latest beta.

>>345
a version of the extension for the janitors.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-03 5:33

>>346
Hmm.. That's odd. It just gets annoying after awhile. My tab will say "Loading..." with the animation as well as my mouse having the "Working In Background" cursor. It'll do this endlessly until I refresh.

Just checking what it was doing and if it was normal. :)

link to 4chan firefox extension?

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-04 12:33

>>348

As far as I know the newest one is (always?) available at http://4chan.org/tools/

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-04 13:01

I'm having an upload problem and wasn't sure where to ask
when I try to upload ,all it comes back with is "Error: Upload failed."
I made sure the file wasn't to big ,but can't figure out what the problem is
on a side note I'm on a *nix box and was wondering if that would cause a problem for the site when finding the file location
like "/home/username/pic.jpg" ,but this is the only site I've had this problem with even hotmail can upload files like this
any pointers ?

Name: DamageInc !euFrYW8TXE 2006-08-04 13:54

>>347
I'm not sure there is anything I can do, appart from removing the ability to keep browsing the page after you post (which would be bad).

>>348,349
moot is lazy and hasn't updated the tools page for the latest version. The newest version is avaliable here:

http://4chan.wrathfilledhate.net/

>>350
I doubt its a *nix pronblem, I use linux to write and test the extension, and seldom test it in windows. Is the upload problem with quick reply? if so is it the external window one or the embedded one? The external window one is broken untill I fix it (soon I hope :( ).

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-04 21:58

>>351
Well, if I remember correctly (which I probably don't) an older version of the extension would refresh the page after sending the message through Quick Reply/Quote. Maybe a toggle for this option? That'd be cool. :D

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-06 20:28

i cant see any thread names and so on in my thread watcher.. only [V][X] appears

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-07 20:25

lol

Name: DamageInc !euFrYW8TXE 2006-08-08 5:20

>>352
I don't think it did, I haven't really changed how it works since it was implemented. Unless you mean the external window one, which works completely differently.

>>353
I assume you mean not just in /b/, where there are no thread titles etc. I'll look into it but it works on mine :(

Depending on how lazy I am I should be releasing an update soon.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-08 8:55

Does this work with Mozilla Suite?

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-15 7:06

I can't get the one-window thread watcher to work like it used to. When I click the TW link, nothing happens. Any idea why ?

I also have 2 suggestions:
 - It would be cool if the TW pruned automatically deleted threads. I don't know if it can be done without too much work, but the check could be made at FF startup (to avoid putting too much constraint on server)
 - Given the fact that /b/ is now on forced_anon and topicless, it would be nice to add a description for watched threads. Simply being able to edit the topic title would do the trick.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-16 3:50

Is there a way to stop it from auto-dialing on startup?

Also, single-post-threads appear to cause hiccups in page-rendering sometimes.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-17 0:20

I'm also having problems with the TW link like >>357 hope it gets fixed soon

Name: DamageInc !euFrYW8TXE 2006-08-17 3:56

>>357
I doubt it, the way extensions works has changed quite a bit since the mozilla.

>>357
I'd forgotten that the TW link was broken, I'll try and remember to look into that.
I may add those features when I get round to rewriting the threadwatcher.

>>358
Hm, I'd never really considered dial-up users. I guess I should add something so that it will only request a newer version of the board data if there is no data is found localy.
