Referring to the handheld 200mhz asymmetric dualcore non-3D game console (that's got Linux in it, too) from South Korea, descendant of the GP32. Americans may not have heard of it, but considering there'a fair bit of people from the UK and thereabouts here, I suppose it's a place as good as any to pose this question here:
Any experiences with one? How does the build quality feel etc, any particular defects aside from the software problems in the first (recalled) firmware? Above all, does it run classic Amiga games such as pinball fantasy, chaos engine and stardust with UAE smoothly? (What's the programming model like? Is there a clean way to get access to the secondary core on the CPU? What about memory protection?)
I've browsed through the gp2x sites on the net but they mostly seem to be populated by either junior-level ex-DOS programmers or marketing people.
