very low sound volume

When I watch DVDs at my computer, the sound is very low. How do I fix this? I use WinDVD.

It could be that the sound is way too low even if you turn the volume to the max. I don't know, I'm just guessing and I have no idea how to fix that.

Your speakers could be plugged into the wrong receptacle.

You could try messing with the volume control in windows. The wav volume might be down. Try turning all the meters up. I had a time where every so often my sound levels would go to minimum value seemingly on their own.
