What is the fastest internet connection alive

The fastest I found using google is OC128 Optical Carrier 128 (6.22 Gbps). I was wondering how it gets this fast

By having a lot of really expensive gigabit+jumbo routers and optical fiber cables.

It scales up to OC4096 but not even most of the backbone is that big.

The fastest Internet connection is whatever the fastest Tier 1 connection is.

10Gbps is the fastest possible atm, but i forget the name
