Is my ipod dead?

Out of nowhere my ipod quit working on me. It froze up and won't respond to a reset. I tried connecting it to my computer to reset the software but i get a message that the internal manager has had and error. Now all i can hear is a buzzing sound and then a click coming from the inside of the ipod. The trouble is this has happend before and I ended up sending it in to apple who then sent me a new one back. I've only had this one for about two months now and the same problem has come up again. Any ideas on what could be causing this and or how to fix this without sending it in to apple?

The hard drive crashed or otherwise got FUBAR. Return it to Apple and buy a non-shitty music player.
