Dreamcast help

K i recently bought a Dreamcast and I've run into a few problems (possibly)

One it came with 4 lame ass REAL games, so I tested them and they all work fine.

Also got 2 controllers and 1 VMU,

The prob is, I got an ISO of crazy taxi and it wouldn't boot, SO i downloaded Utopia 1.1 Boot disc, Burnt that in Nero (thats what it was for) And my DC doesn't read it either.... (laser reads for a while then just goes to the menu)

My friend back in the day used to use the boot discs but I forget how.. I thought he just put it straight in

Also I'm using sony CD-R's and they are the silver bottoms. (And so Far ive been burning at 40x)

Any help?

Burn slower. 40x is way too fast. Drop it down as slow as your drive will go.

Or you could just, you know, buy the games.

Ya i tried burning at 8x and still no go, But i borrowed some of my friends CD's and the super craptacular Gigastorage works fine....

I think it just doesn't like silver bottomed CD's

Fixed it, IT wasn't the Cd's it was my burner, I threw on my old Yamaha 16x (4 years old) and now everything works

My somewhat new Liteon 415s (Flashed to 832s) CAn't burn em worth crap....

Makes no sense but whatever!
