Ugh. My Lite-on LDW-851s doesn't have the right drivers, the firmware is obviously not going to help, and windows, as always, can do nothing to help me.

Maybe you can? The DVD feature isnt working at all, since it is using windows' default CD drivers.

Ugh. Switched machines back to the one where I had, somewhere, the drivers. Now I can't find anything. Firmware does nothing, obviously. Does ANYONE have a LITE-ON LDW-851s so I could borrow your drivers? I'd be very appreciative.
