I have a PX716A with 1.08 version firmware. Trying to burn an image on a dual layer disc with Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.1.0.95 ENU. Got an error right as it started. I don't think the disc has coasterd. The disc is Verbatim brand. The file name of the image is pretty long and uses Unicode.
The original firmware that came on the drive was 1.06. I have a fresh install of EMC, don't know if there are any upgrades I can do that are free.
Should I downgrade the firmware? or is there an upgrade for EMC? I'd rather not buy/warez/install some other burning prog.
