I have a Radeon 9600 XT, and just recently uninstalled my Catalyst driver and installed the latest Omega driver. I've changed the settings for my graphics card to what they were when I had the Catalyst driver installed, and my Radlinker settings are the same as they were.
Now, I've come across a bit of an annoyance since this move in drivers.
I'm getting horrible choppy motion when moving windows, maximizing and minimizing, using ObjectDock, turning camera angles and moving in Ragnarok Online, etc. It's really noticeable in games and flash movies where there's color flashing or color merging effects; I see these lines across the changing/merging colors... it just seems as if the general frame rate of my entire computer just completely dropped.
I've checked everything I could think of. My resolution is the same as before and as is my refresh rate (in game and desktop are set to be the same and always have been without problems).
Does anyone have any idea what the culprit might be?
