You can right-click the drive in My Computer and choose "eject". There's no keyboard shortcut for that without using a third party program. Take your pick.

I don't use Windows, so any gurus might be able to add to this, but wouldn't the original poster be able to change some registry key to do it? Maybe make a shortcut on the desktop that you can double click? Seems like theres a registry key for everything...
