No more OpenGL with Catalyst 5.11

I had some weird low resolution textures in Quake4 and decided to try new graphics drivers (MSI Radeon 9800pro) so I downloaded and installed the new Catalyst 5.11 drivers... but now I cannot start any OpenGL application anymore, Quake4 says it's unable to initialize OpenGL

Consider uninstalling your video card in the Device Manager, restarting, then reinstalling the drivers.

It's worth a shot.

I only tried uninstalling the drivers with the ati uninstalling tool before, I now uninstalled it in the device manager... though it didn't help.

but after I installed the drivers again I noticed that if I only run my primary monitor it works but as soon as I switch in dual monitors it doesn't

eh fixed... it just switched my monitors in control panel and I didn't see it... oh my /o\
