Live RSS feeds. You can enable Firefox to mark RSS feeds as their own bookmark and access them whenever you want. Not sure if IE does the same.
In Firefox, whenever you find a site that offers for a Live RSS feed bookmark, an orange ripple-esque icon that appears in the bottom right hand corner of the browser. Click that, and the program will guide you through the rest.
