i have a micro innovations wireless keyboard (it came with an optical mouse witch i dont use a mre) but my keboard all of a sudde stops wrkig andb it wont connect. i changedthe batteri and everything bu it still wont conect, i even tried huling out m old mouse but it wonr connect either.
sorry for the spelling but i'm not used to usn on-screen keyboard

buy cheap hardware, expect it to work poorly and/or fail. i'd stick with a plain old wired keyboard unless willing to fork over some moolah for a quality wireless.
Micro innovations isn't necessarily a bad brand at all. I've only recently replaced mine, and then only because I didn't feel like cleaning all the keys again. It's still sitting in my closet as a backup. That thing's lasted through half a dozen moves, 3 computers, and over seven years.

wireless keyboards are good for media computers because a celeron machine with a nice big monitor in the living room costs about 1/3 less than the same size HDTV and it plays pirated movies, pirated video games, has internets, is better than a Tivo, and makes you feel l33t
