Question about an old game.

Now, who dosnt remember interstate '76? i just got a copy of this game (legally, be suprised), and since the install dosnt seem to run propperly on the only old comp i have at home (its running win 98 and thats supported by the game), i thought i might ask here for some advice what to do.
Can i somehow simply copy this thing without having to go thru the entire install fitst?
suggestions?

I think there's a program called "wine" that will let you run windows programs-  ...in windows.  It was originally built for Linux, but it turns out that it also lets you run games and programs in XP that are too old otherwise.

Technically its not an emulator, because all it does is allow your OS to understand commands from the program, its not in an emulator when you run your old program.

Its also important to note, if you use it and come to use it regularly, that you have to manually update it because Microsoft won't allow it to auto update its definitions.  I wonder why that is?
