anyone know a good program to check for problems with HDDs and RAM?
my computer has gotten very slow lately and i suspect an old drive has started malfunctioning but i don't know how to be sure.

HDD: Speedfan. Check the SMART tab.

AIDA is nice. It's like SANDRA except not beggarware. You'd need a working system to run it though, don't know whether that's going to be a problem.
