extracting shows from a dying tivo hard disk

my tivo has died and will not reboot...
probably hard drive has bad sectors.

do anyone have software that can extract shows from good parts of hard disk?
(hard disk removed from box and connected via eide-cable to my pc motherboard)

i need to rescue my records.

TiVos run Linux, so you'll be using a filesystem common to Linux.  They may have engineered their own filesystem, though.
