I just got a new mobo for an XP 2800+. The manual says that USB 2.0 is supported, but when I plug my devices into any of the mobos 5 USB ports, it reads as a non-high-speed connection. I've tried installing all of the drivers off the CD that came with the board but to no avail. Any ideas?

You sure your device is USB 2.0? That has to support it, too.

Try updating from Windows Update, maybe that'll help.

on some really, really shitty boards the ports on the back of the mobo dont support 2.0
the only way to get 2.0 is to hook one of those front panel things(or the one, if your case actually has it) up to the little usb connector in the middle of the board.
had a shitty pc chips board like this a while back
