blue screen of death?

help!!!! i beleive i have the blue screen of death.................i boot up and i get to choose how to start, safe mode,safe mode with cmd, etc.......you know the poop.it tells me UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME no matter what i choose. is there any way to fix this so i can get onto the pc and hopefully fix the problem? id rather not lose all the stuff i had on there........and of course, your going to hear the classic. school work,and of course its important.

i want to,but i still need to solve this issue........ill install linux on one of the older PC's in my garage when i can get around to buying them parts.

Your disk is probably toasted. It may be hardware or if you are lucky just software. If you are lucky you may be able to recover some files before having to reinstall. If you are really lucky you'll be able to repair the file system without having to reinstall.
